Our Story & Journey
From humble beginnings to transformative impact - Our journey of faith, service, and community development
First Church Established
Our journey began with the establishment of the first Utumishi church in Kuria, Kenya. Founded by Rev Dr Thomas Gesabo Moseti, this marked the beginning of our faith-based community transformation work.

Wizara Special School Founded
Recognizing the need for specialized education, we established Wizara Special School to provide quality education and support for children with disabilities in Kuria region.

Gracie's Academy Launched
Starting with just 2 pupils under a tree, Gracie's Academy was born. With support from Sweden Donation (Children Help Group), we constructed four classrooms, marking a significant expansion in our educational outreach.
"We started with three pupils and one teacher conducting lessons under a tree. Today, we serve 350+ students from Play Group to Grade 8."
Comprehensive Community Impact
Today, Utumishi Community Care operates multiple programs across education, women empowerment, pastoral support, and community development, impacting thousands of lives annually.
